Mallet Jazz

This site carries alot of information on mallet playing. Good for more than just jazz.

Dom Famularo - One of the VERY BEST!!!!!

There is not enough that I can say about this great human being. Drum clinician, motivator, instagator, a man that will go out of his way to help.

He is endorsed by Vic Firth, Sabian Cymbals, Premier Drums, Audix Mics, Remo and HQ Percussion Products.

Cyberlessons w/Dom Famularo at Vic Firth.com Dom's legendary lessons are now broken down into mini lessons and are now shared with the drumming community through the Vic Firth web site. Check out these lessons regularly as they are added to every couple of months.

More useful links.
LP percussion

Great source of information and products. Who's who and more. Percussion lessons available.

Drum Corps Associates

I have been asked by fellow students and classmates "What is there after I age out of DCI?"

Well, before DCI there was DCA and they have no age limit and these individuals are the REAL drumming die-hards. Check out some of the sample sound bites and some of the Corps links. Even my old instructor, Dick Janes, is with the Baltimore Yankee-Rebels as Caption Head now. He has been with the organization for more than 25 years that I know of and I don't think will quit anytime soon.

DCI

And now you ask "What is DCI"? Drum Corps International.

If you are not familiar with this organization, first check the website. Then, when in season, check out a show. Performers age out at 22 years old. These are the best of the best.

Ricci Adams' Musictheory.net

One of the best ways to deliver theory that I have seen. Chord Calculator, Staff paper generator, Matrix generator. Noumerous trainers: Note, Intervals, Triads, Keyboards, Guitar, Brass, Ear training and more. 5 Stars for this site.

John Wooton

John is ... how would I describe a freak ... an incredible person. He is someone you need to check out. Books published, teaching at USM, President of the Mississippi chapter of P.A.S.I.C., alumni of Phantom Regiment, Steel Pan player of Kaiso!, and more.

Endorsed by Pearl Drums, Sabian, Vic Firth, Row-Loff Productions. Go to www.johnwooton.com now!

Percussive Arts Society

The Percussive Arts Society is known throughout the world as the leading source for setting high standards in the percussion world. The International Drum Rudiments can be found here and membership online is available.

Yankee-Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps

This used to be a DCA competition corps but now functions as an exhibition corps. Check them out and drop a line to Dick Janes and tell him "his old student Ray Sword sent you".

Browse the Finale Showcase

Here I have a few tunes posted that I think are worth checking. From full corps score to full percussion ensemble. Let me know what you think.
